Ranger Print

Technical Information

Ranger Print Manager is a software only accounting solution that enables students and staff to see their printer usage and its associated costs. By setting credit limits and increasing visibility, printer wastage, costs and management are reduced.

Printer Monitoring

Novell Clients require Microsoft Services for Netware to be installed on a Windows Server.

Macintosh Clients prior to Mac OS-X may require a 3rd party security package to authenticate the print jobs to Windows NT/2000/XP. Mac OS-X clients must print to windows via Print Services for Unix

Unix Clients printing to Windows NT/2000/XP printers via LPD using Print Services for Unix are supported

Web Client

Requires Microsoft Internet information Services 6.0 and above on the RPM Server
